For this private property, we wanted a different personality from what we were familiar with. We aimed to surprise ourselves with something different wherever we looked, through a diversity of vibrant plants and colors, as well as a design that mimics nature's constant and consistent offerings. So, that was the idea we wanted to replicate.
We began by conducting the transformation process according to the main objective, the house. Essentially, it needed to contain a series of micro-moments that we would translate into the landscaping area, thus creating a coherent overall image.
Often in the design process, we feel the need to assert ourselves, but from this process, we have learned that it is good to let things and nature take their course. That’s why we adapted the islands of fruit trees and decorative trees according to real principles, offering a rich and textured design around decorative stones, where we can observe that towards the end of the property, everything becomes natural, unenclosed, and wild in the area of birch trees.
The focal point is the fire pit area where minimalist-modern elements blend with the natural and well-maintained style of the Japanese stepping stones leading to the relaxation area overlooking the fish pond, thus fulfilling the main objective of extending the indoor area to the harmonious open space around it.
